A 500-year-old tradition in British sausage making, made by hand this rich sausage using chunks of Free Range Yorkshire pork and a blend of black and white pepper and fresh herbs. This gives the characteristic chunky texture that makes this sausage such a firm British favourite. Ours are hand made to a generations old recipe in the valley of Nidderdale using outdoor reared pork.

It's good to eat and enjoy meat from free range systems, showing farmers that there is a market for herds reared in an ethical manner. When intensive farming reigned unchallenged in the second half of the last century, many of our traditional breeds all but disappeared because they don't take kindly to factory farming. We want to change this by backing free range farming and helping more people realise that we need to safeguard the variety of our farms and to demand meat with intrinsic flavour that comes from higher welfare systems. All of our meat fits that bill perfectly.
