Our free-range English geese are sourced from the historic county of Suffolk. Here, they grow the birds slowly by feasting them on a natural diet. Our geese have a distinctive, gamey flavour and with their tasty, succulent meat they are a worthy centrepiece for the most discerning table. Richer and darker, indulgent meat than your traditional turkey, these whole birds are delicious with braised red cabbage, potatoes roasted in the bird's fat, and tart apple sauce. All of our Christmas range delivered on 19th Dec to 23rd Dec is guaranteed to stay fresh until Boxing Day *except products containing pastry which are pre frozen. 48 hour deliveries (Highlands & Islands) may have a shorter life depending on dispatch times.
The weight of the goose includes the weight of the giblets and the accompanying fat.

About the cut
Our whole geese are sourced from free range farms where they can plump up naturally. Typically more prized than turkey, geese take a lot more food to fatten, but the reward is delicious rich meat. We source geese for ample breast meat, before being expertly prepared and beautifully dressed, leaving the whole bird intact, with the giblets and fat. These birds are game hung to tenderise the meat, and intensify the flavour.

All our meat is fresh so it can be popped in the freezer if you don't need to use it straight away.
