How to cook Easy Carve Pheasant With Chestnut Stuffing
Leaner than chicken but with a much fuller flavour, this pheasant will stay moist and succulent due to the streaky bacon wrapped around the bird. Make sure to follow or executive chef Jeff Baker's recipe card so you get the most out of your easy carve pheasant.
About the cut
Whole Pheasant
These birds are sourced primarily from the wild moorlands. Game was once a key part of the butcher's business with pheasant in abundance from country shoots. These birds are carefully de-feathered and the innards removed before being delivered fresh to your door. Please note: Whilst care is taken to remove shot, occasionally it can be missed, so please check your bird and remove any pellets before cooking.

Your fresh meat delivery will arrive in a special stay-chilled insulated box, which will stay cold for up to 72 hours.
All our meat is fresh so it can be popped in the freezer if you don't need to use it straight away.
