Bring ham to boil in large pot of fresh cold water. Skim off White foam and for each 450g simmer for 30 minutes. After about 1 hour 30 minutes add chopped vegetables. After 2 hours of cooking time add peppercorn and bay. Remove ham whilst still hot and place fat side up on a roasting tray. Brush with honey and stud with cloves.
