These traditional Asian steamed bao buns are a warm, pillowy treat made using a mix of white flour, yeast, sugar and milk. The sweet white bao buns are perfect for steaming, microwaving or frying at home and loading with your fillings, from pulled pork to Peking duck. Top with crushed peanuts, spring onion, and gochujang chilli sauce for an easy feast that's sure to impress family and friends.
This product is frozen and will defrost whilst in transit to you. Ensure this product is thoroughly defrosted before cooking. We strongly recommend cooking within 24 hours for best quality. This product must not be refrozen.
How to cook hirata burger bao buns
Reheating from Frozen:
- Steam: 10 minutes
- Microwave (800W): Warm up for 50-60 seconds with lid cover
- Deep Fry: Not recommended
- Air Fryer: 190°C for 6 minutes
Reheating from Chilled (Defrosted):
- Steam: 5 minutes
- Microwave (800W): Warm up for 25 seconds with lid cover
- Deep Fry: Deep fry at 170°C for 3 minutes (1 minute 30 seconds on each side)
- Air Fryer: 190°C for 3 minutes
