Ingredients
- 400 - 500g pork spare ribs
- 50ml darks soy sauce
- 50ml clear honey
- 4 star anise
- 25ml rice vinegar
- 50 ml water
- 1 thumb of peeled and sliced ginger

Perfect as a starter or a main, these marinated spare ribs are a delicious treat whatever the season or occasion!Method
- Pre heat the oven to 160 degrees (gas mark 3).
- Mix all the ingredients together, soy, honey, vinegar, star anise, water and ginger - and marinade the ribs for a minimum of 1 hour with this mixture.
- Place the ribs in a medium oven and cook the ribs for 2 hours. Constantly baste the ribs until the meat is tender.
- Serve as a starter or with rice as a main course.
