ThomBateman is a classically trained yet largely self-taught
chef soon to become restauranteur, as he opens up his first
restaurant in his hometown of Cheddleton, Staffordshire. Born from
his constant passion for cooking, Thom launched his Instagram page
'bboxfood' in April 2019 to showcase his creations, growing
exponentially to gain 12,000 followers in just 11 months. His new
restaurant, The Flintock, will have a focus on local, seasonal and
sustainable food with full traceability. Launching in 2020, it's
his biggest challenge to date, but with the support of his daughter
and fiancé Salli, there are exciting times ahead for the young
family.
